The User Management screen is the security hub for the Atman platform. It allows administrators to control exactly who can access the robot and what actions they are permitted to perform, ensuring that only trained operators handle sensitive navigation and override tools.

Key Features

  • Multi-User Management: Create, edit, and delete user accounts with individual credentials.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Assign permissions based on user levels—from "Viewer" (read-only) to "Administrator" (full control).
  • Security Audits: View the last-login timestamps and activity levels for every user in the system.
  • Credential Recovery: Reset passwords and update user profiles on behalf of the team.
  • Fleet-Wide Synchronization: User accounts are synchronized across all robots in the organizational fleet for a single sign-on experience.

User Workflow

  1. Onboarding: An administrator creates a "New User" for a newly hired robot operator.
  2. Permission Setting: The admin assigns the "Operator" role, which gives the user access to Teleop and Navigation but locks "Audit Logs."
  3. Password Update: A user requests a password reset, and the admin provides a temporary one through the "Edit User" modal.
  4. Security Review: Monthly, the admin reviews the "User List" and deletes any accounts for employees who have left the team.
