The Robot Settings screen is the master control panel for robot-specific identity and behavior. It is here that administrators configure the core properties and limits of the robot hardware to ensure it operates safely and effectively within its environment.

Key Features

  • Robot Identity: Rename the robot and view critical system IDs like Serial Number and Model version.
  • General Preferences: Toggle sound alerts, light patterns, and essential hardware features.
  • Operational Limits: Set maximum linear speed, rotation rates, and acceleration for autonomous driving.
  • Autonomy Behavior: Configure features like "Auto-Home when battery low" and localization sensitivity.
  • Sensor Calibration: Access tools to reset or calibrate on-board Lidar and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensors.

User Workflow

  1. Initial Setup: After first unboxing, the user names the robot (e.g., "Atman_Warehouse_01").
  2. Speed Tuning: The user lowers the "Speed Limit" for use in a narrow corridor with pedestrians.
  3. Behavior Modification: Toggles "Auto-Charging" to ensure the robot returns to dock at 15% battery.
  4. Maintenance: Performs a quick sensor re-calibration after a hardware maintenance event.
