Settings: Network Configuration
Overview

The Network screen manages the robot's lifeline to the cloud and its fleet controllers. It provides the controls to configure how the robot connects to the building's infrastructure, ensuring it remains reachable and responsive at all times.
Key Features
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: Scan for available networks, enter credentials, and manage saved wireless profiles.
- Ethernet Management: Configure wired connections with support for Static IP assignments or automatic DHCP.
- Signal Quality Metrics: Real-time feedback on Wi-Fi signal strength and network latency (ping) to detect connectivity "dead zones."
- Communication Port Control: Advanced settings to manage the internal ports used for video streaming and ROS 2 data.
- Network Reset Tool: Quickly clear settings or restart the network hardware to resolve connection hang-ups.
User Workflow
- Initial Connection: During first-time setup, the user scans for the office Wi-Fi and connects the robot.
- Fixed Address Assignment: For reliable fleet management, the user assigns a "Static IP" to the charging dock robot.
- Dead-zone Testing: The user drives the robot through the warehouse while monitoring "Signal Strength" to ensure it never goes offline.
- Maintenance: Restarts the wireless card from the UI if the robot loses connection to the cloud backend.
