Map Editor (Masking Screen)
Overview

The Map Editor is a powerful tool for refining and securing the robot's operational environment. It allows users to "paint" virtual zones on the robot's physical map to define where it should and should not go, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
Key Features
- Virtual Forbidden Zones: Draw red "No-Go" areas to prevent the robot from entering dangerous or restricted locations.
- Preferred Pathing: Highlight specific zones where the robot should prioritize driving.
- Precision Drawing Tools: Create complex shapes using Rectangles, Circles, Polygons, and freehand Pen tools.
- Instant Map Modification: Edit existing maps without needing to re-scan the entire facility.
- Undo/Redo Support: Quickly correct mistakes during the editing process.
- Layer Management: Clear specific edits or start over with a fresh view of the raw map.
User Workflow
- Load Map: The user selects the map that needs refinement.
- Select Tool: Chooses the "Rectangle" or "Polygon" tool to mark out a restricted area (e.g., a flight of stairs).
- Paint Zone: Draws the shape directly over the map representation on the screen.
- Finalize: Clicks "Apply Masks" to push the new "Digital Fence" to the robot's navigation system.
